Korea Taekwondo Academy Northwest offers Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. Tae Kwon Do classes are listed for kids, adults, beginners, and advanced students, and all Taekwondo classes start after 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

• General schedule: All Taekwondo classes start after 5:30 pm. Classes are available Monday-Friday. It is recommended that students attend 2-3 classes per week.

About the provider

The program has served the Indianapolis community since 1994 and says it has provided Taekwondo to Indianapolis for more than 30 years. Its leadership team includes Grand Master Donald Cottee, an 8th Dan black belt and head instructor, and Grand Master Chul Koo Yoon, a 9th Degree Black Belt certified by the World Taekwondo Federation. The program states that it works to build a supportive environment for kids and families and includes competitive Taekwondo or self-defense, along with focus, discipline, humility, courtesy, and respect.

Grand Master Yoon conducts all promotion tests only for KTA students. Special classes are provided just for instructors and Black Belts. Students can sign up for adult or kids classes after work or school.
