Metropolitan Youth Ballet of Indiana offers training in ballet technique, pointe, pas de deux, character, contemporary, modern, and jazz. The program also includes a Day Program for homeschool students, a Soloist Initiative, a Boys in Ballet program, Summer Camps & Intensives, and summer programs for dancers ages 3–19. Families can access a free trial class, a video tour of the studio, and options for studio rental, and students participate in a free community performance.

Metropolitan Youth Ballet of Indiana (formerly Ballet Theatre of Carmel Academy) is a non-profit, pre-professional ballet academy led by Margaret TerBush. Its training is based on the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum and is taught by an experienced and dedicated faculty team with decades of performance and teaching experience. As an active member of the Metro Indianapolis arts community, the academy presents professional-quality, affordable classical ballet performances and offers free outreach events at libraries, schools, and festivals. The program is housed in a state-of-the-art Zionsville studio that is described as one of the premiere dance facilities in the region and is available for rental to arts organizations seeking a space to create, learn, rehearse, and perform. The academy’s mission states that it is committed to providing exceptional dance education that nurtures dancers to their fullest potential as performing artists and engaged members of the community, in a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where dancers can learn, connect, and be inspired, while encouraging all dancers, regardless of their long-term goals, to achieve their personal best and to have fun as they follow their passion for dance.
