Learning Tree Academy

Learning Tree Academy offers early childhood development services with small class sizes and educational daily schedules that balance learning and play. The program includes an infant program (available in LaPorte only), a toddler program for children 1–2 years old, a preschool program for children 3–5 years old, kindergarten readiness, and care for school-age kids. It also includes a “Success by Six” program that focuses on school readiness and preparing children for kindergarten, with activities that support social and emotional development.

Since 2001, Learning Tree Academy has been rooted in the South Haven and La Porte communities as a childcare center. The team is described as diligently vetted, carefully selected, trained, and experienced educators who are deeply committed to the well-being and growth of each child. The program’s mission includes planting the seeds of knowledge early, preparing children to confidently branch out into kindergarten, and focusing on school readiness, social and emotional development, and fostering a love of learning and exploration. The daycare and preschool facilities are described as safe and welcoming, and are designed to encourage children to explore, learn, and play, with a philosophy rooted in caring for every student, success by age six, and community excellence.
