About
Arlington Community Education offers classes and activities such as Hand-Poured Candle Making (Family), Harmonica, Inside the Pages of Olive Kitteridge, Stitching on Photos & Paper, and a Peabody Essex Museum Highlights Tour. Some adult classes require participants to purchase materials, and materials lists are available for those classes.

Arlington Community Education is a program of the Arlington Public Schools and is completely supported by tuition received from its courses. It provides affordable education and enrichment opportunities for children and adults from Arlington and surrounding communities. The program has partnerships with Ed2Go and MindEdge Learning to offer additional online learning opportunities and also offers travel opportunities with trips to Norway & Denmark and Iceland. SummerFun registration will open on Thursday, January 29 at noon, and an automated Course Reminder email with class times and locations is sent 48 hours before class, with Zoom links included for online classes. An updated registration system is available at arlington.arux.app, and gift certificates can be purchased online in a variety of denominations. The ACE Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to Arlington residents in need. The leadership team includes Jen Rothenberg, Director; Andrea Loeb, Associate Director; Monica Von Huene, Youth Program Manager; Tanya Serrao, Student Services and SummerFun Coordinator; Talia Feinsod, Programs Coordinator; Emma Plunkett, Operations Coordinator; Lisa Cohen, Communications Coordinator; and Jonathan Gates, Business Manager.
