For more than 15 years, New England Futbol Club (NEFC) Soccer Programs has developed thousands of soccer players and enhanced their playing experience. NEFC develops and trains youth soccer players ages 6–23 in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island through a staff of over 85 that trains over 3,000 youth players. The mission of NEFC is to develop all players for their next level in an elite soccer environment by providing training, education, and competition.

NEFC is described as New England’s premier soccer club with a focus on player development and college placement, and its teams are modeled after collegiate and professional programs with an emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and dedicating themselves to the sport. Playing for NEFC gives student-athletes the experience of competing at the highest possible level, and additional programs are open to the general public, so players do not need to be on an NEFC team to participate. The club offers age-appropriate, curriculum-based training programs with activities and games that facilitate the teaching of the technical and tactical aspects of soccer.

NEFC comprises multiple regions within Massachusetts, each with its own set of facilities and staff. Each region is described as having top-of-the-line facilities and staff to provide athletes with a strong training environment.

The coaching staff includes National “A” Licensed Directors, current college coaches, and coaches with ODP coaching experience. Staff members have coached in 10 or more National Youth National Championships, coached 25 or more professional female players, coached 10 or more youth national camp attendees, and have played collegiately and professionally both domestically and internationally.

NEFC is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization and is described as one of the top soccer clubs in the country focusing on player development and college placement. NEFC averages 100 or more college commitments per year. The club hosts four events per year and over 1,400 teams a year from across North America, and the NEFC Tournament Series draws thousands of players and spectators and hundreds of college coaches and scouts each year.

As a non-profit organization, NEFC states that donations support a holistic approach to supporting families in need who are struggling. In addition to its Inner City Initiative, NEFC has expanded family and community support through a Need-Based Scholarship Program and has launched the NEF-SHE initiative.
