• Schedule: Spring Season runs from April through June and Fall Season runs from September through November; Fall Rec League games are played on Saturday mornings
Chair City Soccer Club provides spring and fall soccer programs for families in Gardner, Templeton, Baldwinville, and Phillipston. The Rec League program is offered to the youngest soccer players ages 4–8, and there is also a local, non-travel recreational program for players older than four years old. Rec League games are structured so that the first 15–20 minutes are for practice, followed by 15–20 minute halves, depending on age. In the Spring Season, there is a possibility of regional or statewide tournament play depending on level of play.
The club’s mission is to develop its players by giving them the skills and knowledge they need to be successful at all levels of the game through the education and development of coaches, a standardized training curriculum, and the promotion of a fun and safe environment for young athletes. Its stated vision is to be one of the best soccer clubs in the area and to be a role model for other clubs by setting the standard for developing players and teaching all aspects of the game. The club lists its values as Respect, Teamwork, Attitude, Effort, and Leadership.
The leadership team includes President Josh Cormier, Vice President Dan Forte, Director of Player Development Pete Gamache, Registrar and Risk Manager Erin Gamache, Treasurer Christopher Lottig, Secretary Jess Flaherty, and Directors At-Large Kierra Casey, Matt Francis, and Mike Reppucci.
