About
Boys & Girls Club of Lynn Afterschool and Summer Programs offers afterschool programming during the school year and a summer camp program. The club’s programming includes activities in education and career development, character and leadership development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports, fitness, and recreation. During the school year, more than 250 children take part in various afterschool programs, and the summer camp program serves over 125 children each week at Creighton Pond Day Camp in Middleton.

• Schedule: Fall office hours 9am–5pm, with programming from 1:45pm–6pm and teen hours from 1:45pm–8:30pm
During the school year, the club serves 1,500 members ages 5 to 18. At club learning centers, more than 200,000 youth received internet access and technology to support virtual schoolwork. Clubs served over 24 million emergency meals and snacks and provided wellness checks, youth activities, and other support to 460,000 families, and through relief and crisis funding, clubs provided 42,000 families with more than $10 million in economic assistance. Youth at the club assembled community care packages, wrote letters to frontline workers, and took part in community efforts related to the pandemic. The mission of Boys & Girls Club of Lynn Afterschool and Summer Programs is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those that need the club the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Boys & Girls Clubs of America holds Guidestar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency, is ranked #11 on the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s list of “America’s Favorite Charities,” and has been recognized by Consumer Reports as one of the “Best Charities for Your Donations.”
