Berkshire Museum camps offer children going into grades Pre-K through 8 the chance to make connections between art, science, and history. Campers should be entering the indicated school grade in September 2025 and should bring a lunch provided by a parent or guardian along with two snacks every day, while half-day camps only require one snack and bag lunches should require no reheating and no refrigeration. Berkshire Museum Members receive discounted camp pricing and exclusive early bird summer camp registration.

The Berkshire Museum’s mission is to bring people together for experiences that spark creativity and innovative thinking by making inspiring educational connections among art, history, and natural science. In 1903, Berkshire Museum founder Zenas Crane decided to blend the best attributes of several major institutions in a new museum for the people of Western Massachusetts. The museum’s diverse collection of more than 40,000 objects is presented through exhibitions, educational programming, digital content, and community events, and an expert team of museum educators provides virtual and in-person lessons on science and culture to students of all ages. This camp must comply with regulation of the MDPH and be licensed by the LBOH.

The Berkshire Museum is partnering with Berkshire Community College for this year’s Summer Camp, and both organizations state that they provide the Berkshire community with educational opportunities, community events, and a place to connect and discover. The Berkshire Museum offers access to education and culture to residents of Pittsfield, the Berkshires, and beyond.
