North Shore Glass School offers Kids' Summer Workshops, Girl Scout Classes, Tween Nights for ages 9-15, and weekend classes in fused glass, flameworking, and glassblowing. The school also offers Evening of Glass and Evening of Flameworking.

Programs

  • Kids' Summer Workshops — For those looking to enjoy an entire week of glass over the summer.
  • Girl Scout Classes — Troops are welcome. If the class a troop is interested in is not listed, they can reach out to set up a private booking.
  • Tween Nights — Ages 9-15 · A night for the kiddos. This is a drop off event. Snacks and soft drinks are provided.
  • Weekend classes in fused glass, flameworking, and glassblowing — Kids age 6+, teens, and adults; glassblowing age 10+; flameworking age 12+ · Throughout the weekend
  • Evening of Glass — adult only · Multiple Friday & Saturday evenings from 7-9pm · An evening spent with friends working in fused glass. Drinks are provided.
  • Evening of Flameworking — A hands-on class making custom wine stoppers.

About the provider

The mission of North Shore Glass School is to learn the ancient art of working with glass to create unique and magnificent pieces. Michael C. Hall has been working with glass for over 20 years and has a B.A. in Art History. Matthew Cronin has over twenty years of experience working in the medium of glass and teaching and has a B.A. in Painting & Sculpture. Anya has been working with glass since 2012 and has a B.S. in Mathematics, with minors in Education and 3-Dimensional Art. The school also offers team building, birthday parties, private lessons, group lessons, summer workshops, Girl Scout classes, NSGS Mobile, and glass wedding unity ceremonies.

Private bookings are available. Chaperones and siblings are welcome to sign up for Girl Scout classes. Tween Nights are drop off events. If dates do not work for a troop, email [email protected] to arrange a private class.
