Billy the Kid Youth Center offers School-Age Care, leisure skills development classes, special themed events, and field trips to area attractions. The program also offers a 10-week summer camp for children entering first grade through 12 years old, teen activities that range from a cooking club to physical fitness workouts, and sports options including a T-ball league, a soccer league, and a winter basketball clinic. Youth participants 13 years old and up with a YC membership can take part in homework help, use computers with an Internet connection, and use TV/DVD and video games.

• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday, with homework help during the school year from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. for youth participants 13 years old and up with a YC membership; a 10-week camp is held in the summer for children entering first grade through 12 years old
• Price: A fee is charged for each sports league and includes a jersey and a trophy awarded at the post-league jamboree and awards ceremony

Billy the Kid Youth Center is operated by Child and Youth Programs. The Center is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and is a Member Affiliate Organization of Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Membership for the Youth Center is free and includes all open recreation activities for those 13 years old and up, and membership forms are available at the Youth Center. Volunteer coaches are needed for each sports league, and the Youth Center staff will train volunteer coaches as needed. Military families have access to MilitaryChildCare.com, a Department of Defense website designed to request full-time childcare, and existing Child and Youth Programs customers may use an online system to pay balances, make hourly care reservations, update their CYMS household and event, and print tax statements.
