About
Billy the Kid Youth Center offers school-age care, leisure skills development classes, special themed events, and field trips to area attractions. The program includes teen activities that range from a cooking club to physical fitness workouts, as well as access to computers with an Internet connection, TV/DVD, and video games. It also runs sports options such as a T-ball league, a soccer league, and a winter basketball clinic, along with a 10-week summer camp for children entering first grade through 12 years old.

• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m., closed Saturday, Sunday, and federal holidays; during the school year, homework help is offered from 2:30–5:30 p.m. for youth participants 13 years old and up with a Youth Center membership; a 10-week camp is held in the summer for children entering first grade through 12 years old
• Price: A fee is charged for each sports league and includes a jersey and a trophy awarded at the post-league jamboree and awards ceremony
Billy the Kid Youth Center is operated by Child and Youth Programs. Membership for the Youth Center is free and includes all open recreation activities for those 13 years old and up, and membership forms are available at the Youth Center. Existing Child and Youth Programs customers may pay balances, make hourly care reservations, update their CYMS household information, and print tax statements online. Military families have access to MilitaryChildCare.com to request full-time childcare, create a household profile, search for childcare, submit requests for care, and manage those requests at any time and from any location. The Center is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and is a Member Affiliate Organization of Boys and Girls Clubs of America. The Youth Center staff will train volunteer coaches as needed, and volunteer coaches are needed for each league; experience is not required but is helpful.
