Wildhearts Academy offers onsite camps, enrichment programs, youth arts programs, and art classes that include visual art, yoga, music, Immersive Spanish, and Social Emotional Learning. The program also provides content-rich lesson packets, a blog with free content, real mom moments, and fun activities for kids and family. Classes and onsite camps include Immersive Spanish and Visual Arts instruction, as well as Visual Arts Integration teaching, within a comprehensive approach that uses Arts Integration, Wellness Habits, and Nature Based curriculum.

Wildhearts Academy is based on a philosophy of teaching children while building an inclusive, compassionate, and forward thinking community. Its approach uses significant figures throughout history along with everyday heroes to guide each week, with students exploring the world around them through creative lessons that teach problem solving and nurture their “Wildheart” spirit. The stated tenets of Wildhearts are wellness, art, inclusivity, and connection to the natural world.
Wildhearts Academy was founded by Laura Brino and Stephanie Smith. The leadership team includes Founder and Nature Teacher Stephanie Smith, Immersive Spanish and Visual Arts Teacher Glory Paredes, Visual Arts Integration Teacher Stephanie Pollock, and Yoga/Music/Social Emotional Learning Teacher Jeanette Lynn. Laura is a freelance artist and singer/songwriter who studied illustration at Maryland Institute College of Art and Art Education at Towson University, is the Director of Programming at Maryland Hall overseeing many youth arts programs, has worked as a Middle School Visual Arts Teacher and Arts Integration Specialist, and has presented at three national conferences about the healing power of arts. Stephanie Smith is a School Librarian and Media Specialist with a Master of Library and Information Science from the iSchool at University of Maryland, College Park, an SL Certification for grades K–12, and 9 years of experience writing Library Media curriculum for her school district. Glory Paredes is a bilingual visual artist and teacher who studied Graphic Design and Programming at the Center of Technical Studies and Computing (CETEC-Plus) in El Salvador and collaborates with local community organizations and schools, including Maryland Hall, Marshall Learning Center, and Annapolis elementary schools. Stephanie Pollock has been teaching pre-K through 5th grade elementary art for 15 years and holds a Masters in Art Education from Towson University.
