Berwyn Heights Boys & Girls Club was chartered in 1969. Its stated purpose is to promote the welfare of youth, provide instruction so they may learn and develop principles of good sportsmanship and knowledge of fundamentals, law observance, leisure-time activities, and health, cooperate with groups for the development of good citizenship among youth, provide a properly supervised athletic and guidance program, and foster interest among citizens within the club’s boundaries in their responsibility to youth. The club is a 503(c)3 organization. It is involved with the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association, Prince George's County Boys and Girls Club, Eastern Development Program (EDP) Soccer League, the Town of Berwyn Heights, and the PGSI Soccer League.
