Bowie Boys and Girls Club offers a wide range of sports and activities, including baseball, football, softball, track, wrestling, kickball, volleyball, and strength and conditioning. The program also includes basketball for boys and girls, cheerleading, baton and poms, cricket, boys and girls lacrosse, intramural soccer, county and travel soccer, and other organized athletic activities.

The Bowie Boys and Girls Club is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. It was established in 1963 and remains committed to its mission of character building, integrity, and teamwork. According to its stated purpose, the club promotes the general welfare, health, and education of youth through a properly supervised athletic program, develops principles of good sportsmanship, acquaints participants with the value of observing laws, provides instruction in the fundamentals of sports and athletic activities, encourages community responsibility to youth, and prepares youth to be better citizens in the future. Membership is not to exceed 50 in number according to the by-laws, and general board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. An online registration system is used and will only allow registration with Visa or Mastercard.
