South Bowie Boys and Girls Club offers basketball, soccer, cheerleading, wrestling, and football programs for girls and boys. The program also includes Cheer Clinic, Flag Football, Lacrosse, Volleyball, and Tackle Football. These activities are available to all youth living within and around the South Bowie community, regardless of ability or skill level.

The program’s mission statement is “Empowering Youth, Inspiring Excellence.” Participants receive instruction from coaches who are American Sports Effectiveness Program qualified, and each sport is administered by volunteers. The club offers winter sports such as basketball and wrestling, spring sports such as Cheer Clinic, soccer, Flag Football, lacrosse, and volleyball, and fall sports such as cheerleading, soccer, tackle football, and volleyball. Effectiveness and communication are open to all who have a sincere interest in giving back to the children in the community.
