About
Horizon Child Care Inc. offers before and after school care for school-age children, all-day child care, and a whole day preschool program for 2–5 year old children. The program also offers a summer program that creates a camp-like experience while maintaining standards of high-quality child care. Group leaders work together with parents and therapists or counselors and will make modifications to class schedules and routines as needed to meet the goals of every child.

At Horizon the staff are committed to working with each family to determine the best practices needed to accompany each child in his or her educational journey, and they believe that in supporting and encouraging families they can create smooth transitions to the benefit of both child and family. Horizon Child Care has maintained an impeccable record within the licensing standards through the Maryland State Department of Education, and its preschool program is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education. The program provides developmentally appropriate practices to meet the needs of all children at his or her level. Horizon encourages and accepts children of any race, religion, and ethnic background for enrollment and accepts subsidies from the Working Parents Assistance Program (WPA) and the Maryland Department of Social Services Child Care Scholarship Program.
