Mad Science of Washington, DC

Mad Science of Washington, DC offers after-school programs, birthday parties, workshops, summer camps, assemblies and shows, STEM nights, interactive science booths, stage shows, fun stations, preschool shows, and preschool workshops. The program delivers unique, hands-on science experiences for children through age-appropriate experiments that introduce basic scientific principles, including Pre-K shows with color-changing reactions and bubbling potions. Workshops are offered for interactive, hands-on learning and many are tailored to meet curriculum standards.

Mad Science of Washington, DC averages approximately 150 workshops per month, runs over 350 after-school enrichment classes per year, 250 assemblies per year, over 700 birthday parties per year, and operates the region’s largest science-based summer camp program serving over 1,500 kids each summer. All workshops align with Maryland, Virginia, and DC standards. Parents across DC, Maryland, and Virginia voted Mad Science as Washington Parent Magazine’s Best Party Entertainer, and in 2020 it was selected as Washington Parent Magazine’s winner in the category of STEM Summer Camps & Programs.
