Camp Wild is a free summer youth camp program that includes activities such as creek walks, trail exploring, games, crafts, and Soccer Camp. The program’s day camps run daily from 10 AM to 4 PM. Campers are welcome to sign up for one week each summer.

Camp Wild 2026 is now open. One session runs July 27th–July 31st as a Soccer Camp, and campers in this session must have cleats and shin guards. Expanding Camp Wild to include electricity, plumbing, and buildings at the camp site is part of the organization’s vision.
Camp Wild is a program of The Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission. Since 1955, The Hope Center’s mission has been to offer help for today and hope for tomorrow by providing programs and services to meet the physical and spiritual needs of men, women, and children. The organization reports that, since 1955, it has been giving shelter to the homeless, giving hope to the addicted, giving food to the hungry, and giving God all the glory. The leadership team includes Aimee L. Izer, Administrator of The Hope Center. The organization states that, thanks to community support, it has expanded its services to include youth outreach, community meals 365 days a year, clothing assistance, and additional services at no cost to those in need.
