Dominique Dawes Academy has a highly-trained and nurturing staff with friendly, welcoming, inclusive, and inviting coaches who lead top-notch gymnastics and ninja programs in a safe and supportive environment. The mission of Dominique Dawes Academy is to empower children and help parents recognize the value of being in an empowering and positive environment. Unique features include month-to-month commitment, sibling and multi-class discounts, a flexible make-up policy, and a complimentary gymnastics or ninja class for new kids, families, and parents at select open locations. The academy runs a Gold Medal Moments program that recognizes student achievements each class, with awards in categories such as Grit & Growth, Fearless Spirit, Heart of Gold, Lead the Way, and Joyful Energy. The program focuses on developing happy, active, and strong kids, with emphasis on physical, emotional, and social development, and on building confidence, strength, and fun through progressive classes. The academy’s stated goal is to change toxic culture in gymnastics and create a healthy and nurturing environment by prioritizing the mental and physical health and well-being of every child above scores and rankings, carefully managing the number of hours children train, and emphasizing a well-rounded life outside of gymnastics, along with a culture of kindness and respect where children are encouraged to be good teammates and support one another. Ninja classes are inspired by the television show “American Ninja Warrior,” and Xcel competitive gymnastics teams are available for children who love a challenge. Birthday party packages include decorations, favors, balloons, a special gift for the child, and active playtime in the facility.
