Learning Tree Academy

Learning Tree Academy offers arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and hands-on experiences as part of its daily routine. The program also includes early literacy, math skills, social-emotional learning, homework help, after-school programs, and other extracurricular activities.

For more than two decades, Learning Tree Academy has been dedicated to providing a safe and caring environment where children grow. Its programs are tailored to meet the diverse developmental needs of children from infancy to school age, with an infant program, toddler program, preschool program, kindergarten, and engaging after-school programs for school-age kids. The curriculum is structured yet flexible and incorporates play-based learning, educational and engaging daily schedules, and a focus on school readiness through social and emotional development with engaging activities.

The facility is equipped with safe indoor and outdoor play areas, including spacious classrooms and engaging outdoor spaces tailored for exploration and discovery, and the facilities are described as safe and welcoming. The staff includes experienced educators and experienced staff trained in child development. Learning Tree Academy describes itself as a nurturing, experienced, and dedicated daycare and preschool, with small class sizes, an intimate setting in La Porte, and South Haven services that emphasize hands-on learning experiences that support “Success by Six” principles, including a “Success by Six” program designed to cultivate academic skills and social roots for kindergarten.
