Bender JCC Youth & Family Programs

Bender JCC Youth & Family Programs offers activities such as Beginner Karate and Intermediate Karate, Personal Training, Group Exercise, and Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons. The program also includes Rhythm 'n' Ruach | Summer 2026 for infants and toddlers, as well as adult programs like Beginner Canasta, Aqua Suspension, Tai Chi, and Adult Enrichment & Learning Programs. Programs in the Summer Program Guide run from June 22 through August 9.

Bender JCC Youth & Family Programs is part of an organization first founded in 1913, which was incorporated in 1923 and later celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013. The organization’s name was officially changed to the Bender JCC of Greater Washington in 2015. Its mission is to inspire connections between individuals, families, and neighbors to cultivate an inclusive and welcoming community based on Jewish life and values. The Bender JCC partners with individuals and organizations across the region, shares its Rockville location with the Hebrew Home and Jewish Social Services Agency (JSSA) as part of the Charles E. Smith Life Communities, and is a member of the JCC Association of North America and a beneficiary agency of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. The JCC Association of North America has honored the Bender JCC’s innovative programming and Lessans Camp JCC’s inclusive programming for people with disabilities through numerous awards and recognitions.
