Montgomery Can Code Summer Camp offers a free, fun week of summer camp where campers learn to code with Swift. Campers learn to code with Swift Playgrounds, a free app for iPad that makes getting started with Swift code interactive and fun. Swift is an easy-to-understand programming language used by professional developers to create world class apps.

The program is for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade MCPS middle school students. MCPS middle school students can attend to learn Swift from coding experts. The camp’s mission is to help students gain knowledge about coding using one of the world’s most popular programming languages, prepare eager students for future careers in the hottest tech industries, bridge the gap in computer science training for all students, and provide a fun summer learning experience. Now in its sixth year, Montgomery Can Code Summer Camp is also featured on Apple’s K–12 website and Learn to Code page.
