Youth Summer Programs offers more than 300 summer camps that include activities such as Abrakadoodle, Black Rocket, computer skills and programming, engineering skills, STEAM, Yang Academy of Math and Science, study and testing skills for school success, and circus camp. The camps are part of the Youth Summer Camps at Montgomery College in Maryland and are structured for students in grades 1–12.
• Ages: 6–17 years old
The program leadership team includes Jack Hegarty, Program Assistant; Selali Obobi, Program Assistant; Sharon Wolfgang, Program Coordinator; and Maria Jose (Majo) Murguia, Acting Program Manager. Montgomery College is nationally recognized for top-tier graduation rates and return on investment. Limited scholarships are available for students who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunches in MCPS schools, and 100% of donations to the WDCE Youth Enrichment Fund go directly to scholarships for young learners in the community.
