Camp Sonshine offers activities such as Snow Tubing Youth Fun Events, Christmas Carnival Games, Christmas Crafts, facepainting, a moonbounce, and family photobooth opportunities. The program also features a Christmas Market with local vendors, live music, singing, and dancing at its Christmas Village event.

For more than 40 years, Camp Sonshine has operated as a registered 501(c)(3) organization serving families in Montgomery, Howard, and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland. The program is accredited by the county and state and uses specially trained staff with a low camper-to-staff ratio. Camp Sonshine states that it partners with parents to invest in the social, emotional, and spiritual development of children and uses key values from the Bible such as compassion, honesty, and forgiveness. The program also offers bus service, along with extended care and bus transportation convenience options.
