School of Rock Silver Spring Music Programs offers music lessons that include weekly private music lessons, weekly group rehearsals, and weekly group music lessons. Students take part in one-on-one instruction and group rehearsals that can include band practices and live performances. The program includes guitar lessons, drums lessons, vocals lessons, bass guitar lessons, and keyboard lessons, as well as songwriting, arrangement, music theory, songwriting exercises, lyrical workshops, and recording original songs.

School of Rock Silver Spring Music Programs includes an Adult Program that is open to all experience levels. In the Rookies program, students can experiment with multiple instruments, and the program uses simplified rock instruments to teach kids to play music. Students in the songwriting program have a live showcase at a local music venue, and students in the Online Songwriting Program remotely record their original songs to produce a demo. Students in this program perform at local Silver Spring music venues.
