Camp Wright offers activities such as boating, swimming, creative arts, nature exploration, and environmental activities. Campers also take part in sports and games including gaga, nine square, capture the flag, and counselor hunt.
Camp Wright provides Day and Resident camp programs for over 1,475 campers each summer. The camp is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Easton, and its mission is to connect young people to God, to one another, and to the natural world around them. Camp Wright is described as an accepting, open Christian community of faith focused on young people, and it welcomes individuals of all faith backgrounds, races, colors, religions, creeds, sexes, gender identities, national origins, abilities, and sexual orientations. The leadership team includes Executive Director Julia Connelly, Program Coordinator and Day Camp Director Cara Fehrenbacher, Registrar Rosie Orme, Maintenance Director Eric Rescorla, and Program Director of Resident Camp Kylie Richardson. Cara has a background in Early Childhood Education. No cell phones and no tablets are allowed at Camp Wright, and there is limited electricity.
