Families are offered transportation to and from various schools, meals are included, and vouchers are accepted. The center has an open-door policy for parents to visit their child’s classroom at any time, parents may call during the day to ask how their child is doing, and teachers are available to speak directly with parents from 12:30–2:30 pm daily. One parent, Crystal Glenn, states that her family has been at the center since 2018 and describes affordable pricing, home-cooked meals, learning, and a summer camp, as well as a harvest party with large treat bags, funnel cakes, ice cream, moon bounces, a game truck, and more at both the Branch Avenue Temple Hills and Walker Mill Capitol Heights locations. Another parent, Vernice Miles, describes the owners Robert and Valencia Makel as passionate about the children, notes that tutoring was provided at no cost, and mentions Christian activities like drama that kept her child excited and involved in church activities. A third parent, Brittany Casey, reports that her daughter loves the center, describes the staff as friendly and professional, and says that the director, Ms. Vee, goes above and beyond for the children, especially during the holidays.
