About
KidStrong is a science-based kids training program where kids take part in weekly classes led by expert coaches. In each 45-minute class, kids do fun activities that promote balance, coordination, strength, and agility, along with puzzles, games, mental challenges, and science-based fitness games. Classes take place in clean, modern centers and are reserved for KidStrong members only.
• Ages: 0–11 years old
• Schedule: Each week, kids join a 45-minute class
KidStrong is guided by a group of experts, child development scientists, and coaches, and all coaches are certified, professional, specially trained, and described as compassionate leaders. The program’s Whole Child Philosophy focuses on three pillars: Strong Character, Strong Body, and Strong Mind, and games are used to develop life skills like teamwork, mental toughness, and sportsmanship. KidStrong is parent-focused, and parents have front row seats in classes, creating connected families during sessions.
KidStrong was founded in 2015 by Matt and Megin Sharp in Lexington, Kentucky, and they partnered with Lincoln Brown to turn the idea into a scalable business. The leadership team includes Patti Eubanks (Preschool & Kindergarten Director), Patrick Ford (Doctor of Physical Therapy), and Dr. Julie Foucher (MD, Family Physician, 4x CrossFit Games Competitor). KidStrong celebrated its 100th center opening with franchisee Barb Volk in Plantation, Florida, and there are now more than 160 locations serving more than 65,000 kids per week. KidStrong has a proven business model that has generated success for franchisees in markets across the US and Canada.
KidStrong offers camps where kids gain lifelong friendships, learn new skills, build confidence, and create unforgettable memories, and some centers run KidStrong Academy. KidStrong does not provide medical services, does not accept insurance, and cannot guarantee that a child will learn how to fly.
Parents have shared experiences such as: “It’s incredible. Our daughter goes once a week, and we’ve seen her confidence skyrocket. We are truly grateful for KidStrong!” (Summer, mom, Rocklin, CA). Another parent said, “When my son first started attending KidStrong, he was super shy and anxious. It's so funny how much he's changed and how confident he has become. I recommend and downright BRAG about this program to my friends and family. I cannot say enough good things about it.” (Jessica, mom, Noblesville, Indiana). A third parent shared, “My child has speech delay and communication was difficult. When we first joined KidStrong, my child was behind but the environment motivated him. Now he’s putting effort into learning not just words but cooking, cleaning, you name it..” (Ella, mom, San Antonio, Texas).
