Asian Martial Arts Studio Children's Program takes place in a primary training area where cushioned mats cover the floors. Asian Martial Arts Studio has been teaching traditional East Asian martial arts since 1974 and is the oldest full-time martial arts school in Ann Arbor. According to its mission statement, the school offers training in traditional martial arts. Regular members may attend as many of the regularly scheduled classes in their program as they choose, and later in the course of training, members are encouraged to train in more than one martial art. The school is close to the University of Michigan central campus.
