BAKE! Kids & Teens Baking Classes and Camps offers hands-on bread, pastry, and cake baking classes, as well as cooking classes. The program also offers multi-day camps for kids and teens during the summer months, along with virtual kids’ classes, virtual private classes for kids’ birthday parties, and virtual private classes for families that are educating at home.

The program’s mission statement is to encourage a love of cooking and baking early by offering a variety of classes designed for kids throughout the year. Classes are taught in teaching kitchens and online for virtual classes. The program offers hands-on baking and cooking classes in small class sizes, with classes limited in size and including at least two instructors, and each class includes a discussion of ingredients and a time to taste. Suggested places to buy ingredients and equipment include Zingerman’s Bakehouse, Zingerman’s Delicatessen, Zingerman’s Mail Order, Downtown Home and Garden, By the Pound, King Arthur Baking Co., Janie’s Mill, and Breadtopia, including particular flours, spices, and baking chocolates from Zingerman’s Mail Order.
