Orchard Hills Athletic Club (OHAC) was established 60 years ago as a community pool on the northeast side of Ann Arbor, celebrated 60 years of OHAC pools in the community in 2024, and is celebrating its 61st year in 2025. OHAC’s mission is to provide a diversity of swimming instruction opportunities for children and adults in a supportive community setting. OHAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run entirely by neighborhood volunteers, and OHAC membership supports the mission and sustainability of the pools. OHAC is happy to sign off on group volunteer hours for high schoolers. The leadership team includes Hannah Smith (President), Kent Hatcher (Vice President), Cynthia Ransley (Secretary), Linda Klimach (Treasurer), multiple Membership leads, a Swim Team lead, a Dive Team lead, Facilities leads, and a Pool Manager.

Showers are required prior to entering the pool, non-toilet trained children must have an appropriate swim diaper to swim in the pool, and no glass containers are allowed.
