Ann Arbor Saline Music Center

Ann Arbor Saline Music Center offers Summer Music Camp, Rock Band School, and Private Music Lessons. Summer Music Camp includes guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, voice, violin, brass, and other instruments, with time in the center’s performance space and practice rooms. Rock Band School is a weekly band class and rehearsal, and Private Music Lessons are once per week for 30 minutes.

Programs

• Summer Music Camp — 8 and up · Mon-Fri, 9:30 AM-3:30 PM · $595 per week · Two weeks offered: June 15-19 and June 22-26. Camp includes lunch with a drink and a snack every day. Performance Friday at 2:30 PM.
• Rock Band School — Weekly band class/rehearsal; classes 7 days a week · $99 per month · Youth Rock Band School is $99 per band per month above the cost of private lessons. No contract or long-term commitment.
• Private Music Lessons — Once per week, 30 minutes · Students are matched with an instructor. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, interests, and learning style.

About the provider

The program was founded in 1998. Its mission statement is, "A music community where education matters." Many Rock Band School shows are fundraisers for local and national organizations.

All levels are taught at camp, but absolute beginners are asked to sign up for lessons several weeks prior to camp. Campers can join for just one or both weeks. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and allergy free options are available all days with advance notice.
