Redbirds FC Soccer Programs offers a soccer camp with daily soccer programming. The camp includes separate time blocks for high school boys and girls, middle school boys and girls, and 1st through 5th grade students.
• Ages: 6–17 years old
• Schedule: Monday July 22, 2024 through Friday July 26, 2024, with morning sessions by grade level
• Price: Cost for 2024: Elementary School: $60 Middle School: $75 High School: $120
The 2024 schedule (grades are for Fall 2024) runs from 9:00 am to noon for high school boys and girls. Middle school boys meet from 9:00 to 10:30 am, and middle school girls meet from 10:30 am to noon. 1st grade meets from 9:00 to 10:00 am, 2nd and 3rd grade meet from 10:00 to 11:00 am, and 4th and 5th grade meet from 11:00 am to noon.
The camp director is Brandon Johnson, who is the Head Coach of Cardinal Boys Soccer. The program’s stated foundation at AASA Redbirds is to create a fun and enjoyable experience for all family members, players, coaches, managers, referees, spectators, and guests.
This camp is a proud partner of Haitian Initiative, and all proceeds of the camp go to the Jack Schneider Memorial Fund for Haitian Initiative. This fund provides an ongoing team sponsorship of a U-11 boys team in Haitian Initiative, which allows 20 boys to attend school, participate in daily soccer programming, and receive clean drinking water as well as a daily meal for a full year. All proceeds from the camp also go to Haitian Initiative and Bricks to Bread, and Bricks to Bread International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps build brick ovens for Costa Rican families seeking a sustainable source of income. Brick ovens often become a focal point in the town, become a gathering place for community events, and encourage comradery by welcoming all to participate in the build. No refunds will be issued after the first session except under special circumstances with board approval.
