Camp Tamarack of MN is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All staff are volunteers who pay a fee to attend the camp to help keep costs low. Camp Tamarack requires campers to have updated shot records to attend, and COVID vaccinations are not required. Families must submit a new physical exam form every year, with the 2025 form due July 1, 2025, and the date of the child’s last physical must be within two years of the start of camp, including shot records or immunization dates. Campers cannot receive phone calls while at camp unless it is an emergency. Registration for the 2026 camp will open in March 2026. The camp Half-Night on April 11, 2026, is for former campers only.

St. Albert’s the Great Church founded this camp experience in 1970 and supported it for over 50 years, and a majority of the campers come from the Twin Cities area, with transportation provided from St. Albert’s Church. Camp Tamarack states that it prides itself on being an affordable, exciting, and memorable experience for young campers. For questions about camp registration, payments, physicals, transportation, or other planning information, families can contact Davi Axelson at [email protected].
