Youth Camps and Events

Youth Camps and Events includes specific options such as the Engineering Machine Design Contest, Nitro-X Summer Camp, and Scrubs Camp. In the Engineering Machine Design Contest, student teams design and build a complex machine using everyday objects with the guidance of a coach, explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) principles in a collaborative environment, and then showcase their machine at a regional contest with the opportunity to advance to the Engineering Machine Design Championship. Nitro-X Summer Camp is presented annually by the Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence in partnership with the colleges of Minnesota State, Minnesota high schools, and industry partners, and Anoka Tech will not be offering Scrubs Camp in 2026. Anoka Tech hosts a variety of camps and events throughout the year, and event details and links to registration are updated as they become available.
