2nd Chance Youth Ranch

2nd Chance Youth Ranch offers activities that include VBS (Vacation Bible School), horse camp, equine assisted mentorship sessions, horseback riding lessons, workdays, team building activities, and personal tours of 2nd Chance Youth Ranch. The program includes faith-based activities and time with horses as part of its regular offerings.

2nd Chance Youth Ranch was established in 2010. Its mission statement says that it exists to provide opportunities for youth, families, and surrounding communities to learn, grow, and heal in the company of horses and the power of God's perfect love, and that everyone in life deserves a second chance. The ranch has partnered with Hillside HOPE Thru Hooves, a ministry founded in 2005, to offer a faith-based sanctuary for individuals, families, and groups to experience hope, healing, and personal growth through the love of Christ. The Equine Assisted Mentorship Program is described as a safe place for families and youth to come and experience the healing and restorative love of Jesus Christ. Leadership includes Founder Robin Fitzgerald, Equine Assisted Mentorship Director Angel Bateman, and Todd Bateman, who co-founded the Hillside HOPE Thru Hooves ministry with Angel Bateman.
