Lyric Arts Theater Arts Workshops and Educational Outreach Programs are part of a full season of live theater that includes musicals, dramas, comedies, and children’s productions. The program is connected with theater arts workshops and educational outreach programs, and families can also attend intimate live music events through the “Music in the ‘Burbs” Concert Series. The Lyric Arts Box Office is open 10am–3pm, Tuesday–Friday, and one hour before each performance for in-person ticket sales and Will Call pickup.

Lyric Arts’ mission is to enrich lives by creating meaningful performing arts experiences that ignite the imagination, inspire the spirit, and engage the community. Lyric Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Lyric Arts is deeply rooted in the communities it serves and receives support from the Minnesota State Arts Board and many donors throughout the area. The Main Street Stage was fully renovated in 2001 and presents nine to ten productions per season, including comedies, dramas, classics, musicals, and plays for young audiences, along with theater arts workshops and educational outreach programs. It is the only full-time, year-round theater in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis.
