Infant daycare serves children ages 6 weeks–18 months and includes baby sign language, while toddler daycare for ages 1–2 years includes story time, songs, music, movement, creative expression, and outdoor play. Private preschool for ages 3–4 years includes S.T.E.A.M., theater, secondary language, creative movement, and gym, and pre-K serves children ages 4–5 years. Private kindergarten for age 5 years follows a curriculum that aligns with local, state, and federal guidelines and includes language arts, music, robotics and coding, Spanish and Mandarin, and S.T.E.A.M. Before- and after-school care and summer camp for ages 5–12 years include access to sports fields, play structures, ancillary programs, classes, homework help, snacks, guest speakers, community and family events, field trips, and sports such as tennis, basketball, soccer, kickball, and baseball.
The program uses a whole-child, research-based curriculum created to introduce children to a variety of learning experiences and emphasizes building skills and confidence children need to take on what is next. The Crème Learning Approach includes vibrant classrooms, an enriching early childhood education curriculum, and talented teachers. The program offers age-appropriate day care programs in an educational, nurturing setting and an elevated early education experience for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
Tuition at The Crème School of Chanhassen is all-inclusive and includes diapers, wipes, daily breakfast, lunch, snacks, supplies, enrichment classes, state-of-the-art amenities, and before- and after-school transportation for elementary students. Bus services are provided via a Crème School bus and local school buses with specified before- and after-school routes to multiple local schools. The program uses biometric fingerprint entry security, live classroom and playground cameras, and screens in lobbies for monitoring. Some centers in the Crème de la Crème network feature an on-site water park and bowling alley.
Teachers at The Crème School of Chanhassen are trained in child development, early childhood education, or a related field, and staff have early learning experience, including examples such as since 2005, since 2016, and since 2010. Staff have completed rigorous national and state background checks and are CPR- and first-aid-certified. The program maintains a low student-to-teacher ratio in infant care and after-school programs.
Crème de la Crème began in 1982 with a focus on early education through enchanting spaces and enriching stories, and in 2022 Crème de la Crème joined the KinderCare Learning Companies family. The leadership team at The Crème School of Chanhassen includes Executive Director Krista Pehl, Director of Operations Jordan King, and Director of Quality and Education Joy Davitt. The stated purpose of the program is “Building confidence for kids, families, and the future we share.”
Parent feedback includes a report from a Crème School parent who has a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old enrolled and is “absolutely thrilled with every aspect of their experience so far, from teaching and learning to fun activities and special events.” Another Crème School parent shared being “just so grateful for the impact the Crème team has made on my child’s speech and accelerated development.” Families are invited to “Spend a free day with us” through a free day visit offer.
