Tonka Fusion Elite offers elite soccer programming that includes Girls Academy, MLS NEXT Boys, MLS NEXT Academy, North Academy, and the Tonka Fusion Elite Goalkeeper Camp. Players in the program compete in events such as the Girls Academy National Cup and the Girls Academy Summer Playoffs, with specific teams like the 2011 GA Girls, 2009 Girls, 2010 Girls, and 2013 Girls qualifying for these national events.

In June 2017, Tonka United Soccer Association and Fusion Soccer Club launched a partnership to form Tonka Fusion Elite as an elite program starting at the U13 and U14 levels. Tonka Fusion Elite is a partnership between Tonka United Soccer Association and Fusion Soccer Club, and the program serves as the pinnacle of the player pathways for both clubs. Fusion Soccer Club serves youth soccer players from across the Twin Cities metro area including the Northwest communities of Plymouth, Wayzata, Medina, Maple Grove, and Buffalo, and Tonka United serves youth soccer players from across the Twin Cities metro area including the West and Southwest communities of Minnetonka, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Edina, Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, and Waconia. The collaboration was built to foster a culture of excellence and empower players for the duration of their youth careers, and Tonka Fusion Elite depends on its two member clubs for field access, coaching, and financial backing.
Tonka Fusion Elite states that it is proud to provide a player-centered environment focused on long-term development, competitive excellence, and a culture where every player belongs. Players in the program have access to top-tier coaching, premier facilities, and a comprehensive development model, and the structure brings together top-level players from the member clubs and across the greater metro area. Season plans for the 2026–2027 Tonka Fusion Elite season are available on their website. The 2011 Tonka Fusion Elite Girls earned a place in the Girls Academy National Cup Final, and the 2011 GA Girls, 2009 Girls, 2010 Girls, and 2013 Girls all qualified for national Girls Academy events such as the Girls Academy National Cup and Girls Academy Summer Playoffs.
