East Grand Forks Parks & Recreation Programs are offered through the city’s Parks & Recreation Department. The programs use the city’s parks, facilities, and open space for residents’ recreational use. Information on park availability or ice rentals is available through the Parks and Recreation Department at 218-773-8000.

Its mission also includes maintaining the city’s parks, facilities, and open space to allow for a safe and enjoyable experience, and providing parks, facilities, and open space for residents’ recreational use. The department states that it provides recreational activities for residents in a safe, fair, efficient, and economical manner. The leadership team includes Jeremy King, Park & Recreation Superintendent; John Wuitschick, Recreation Coordinator; and Brenna Mathiason, Parks & Recreation Specialist.
