MTA Juniors Camps is part of Minnesota Thunder Academy, whose mission is to develop soccer players to the best of their ability. MTA Coaches have US Soccer, UEFA, and USC accreditation, and many have played on Division 1, national, and professional teams, and have been trained and licensed in top programs in the U.S. Minnesota Thunder Academy is a member of the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and the Minnesota National Premier Leagues (NPL). Minnesota Thunder Academy has developed more Division 1, professional, and US National Team players than any other soccer club in Minnesota. In addition to core development programs, MTA invests thousands of dollars every year into scholarship programs that support players, and ten percent of MTA athletes receive financial aid awards. MTA emphasizes development of the player to his or her full potential, even if it means winning fewer games, and the Juniors Camp experience emphasizes the values and philosophy of the MTA program.

One parent, Ashley B., describes the chemistry on her son’s team and credits the example set by the coaches and club directors. Another parent, Don R., states that his son has been coached by strong coaches in Minnesota and has gained national exposure through ECNL, and he highlights coach Mark Yueill’s focus on attitude and hard work. Matthew H. notes that his son made his biggest improvements as a soccer player at MTA and that character development, including being a good teammate and respecting officials and opponents, was a central part of his experience with coach Mark Yueill. Amanda Jane F. shares that her daughter has improved her skills, gained confidence, and feels comfortable in the MTA environment. Anny C. states that MTA would be a great option for players who want to play college soccer, especially outside the Midwest. Michelle G. notes that costs are up front and that facilities, coaching, and expectations for post-club play are consistently high-quality.
