A2D Academy offers STEAM, literacy, and art programs where students learn in multi-age classrooms through group activities and play. The program includes after school STEAM classes, homeschooling options, birthday parties, and summer camps, and students have the freedom to move and choose activities that are interesting to them. Its curriculum is individualized, so students can work above grade level standards and at different levels in different subjects, with a focus on whole child education that includes social and emotional growth.

A2D Academy’s mission is to inspire lifelong learning, creative thinking, and a love for learning through active play, hands-on learning, and creation of the arts through accessible programming for all. It offers STEAM-based programs for kindergarten to 5th grade and provides STEAM, literacy, and art experiences for pre-K to 6th grade. The program uses multi-age classrooms that house kindergarten and 1st grade together and 2nd through 5th grade together. A2D Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designated as a public charity 509(a)(2) and focuses on helping each student find their passion and pursue their dreams.
One parent shared that their children enjoy going to Kids Night Out, mentioning welcoming teachers, crafts, food, and playing at Edinborough, and that the family uses this time as a parents’ night out. Another parent of a 2nd grader expressed gratitude for the work done with their child over the year and noted that they have begun to see progress.
