Edina Baseball Association Youth Baseball Programs include optional pre-tryout practice, hitting and fielding tryouts, a finals session, a House League, a Rec League, a Late Summer League, and travel baseball tournaments. Players can take part in an optional pre-tryout practice at Breamar Dome, a Hitting Tryout at Brower, a Fielding Tryout at Breamar Dome, and Finals at Breamar Dome. The program also includes Edina Classic travel baseball tournaments hosted at Courtney Fields at Braemar Park, with registration opening via TourneyMachine.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: The NEW House League for grades K–3 runs for 8 weeks in May and June, with teams playing twice per week on a weekday evening and Saturday; the Rec League season for grades 4–9 runs from mid-April through mid-July and for grades 10–12 runs in May and June, with about 16 games mainly during the week and an end-of-season weekend tournament in early July; the Late Summer League runs in August and September for players entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in Fall 2026.
• Price: The NEW House League for grades K–3 has a league fee of $200; the Rec League for grades 4–12 has a league fee of $300 plus an additional uniform fee of approximately $50 for one jersey and one hat.
In the NEW House League for grades K–3, teams are made up of 12–13 players and 2–3 parent coaches and are organized by schools and play-with requests, and players register for the grade they are in as of May 1, 2026. In this House League, K/1st grade uses a tee, 2nd grade uses pitching machines, and 3rd grade is player and coach pitched. In the Rec League for grades 4–12, teams are made up of 12–13 players and 2–3 parent coaches, and Edina Rec plays in the Southwest Community League with EP, Chaska, Chan, Shak, and a few others.
