Edina Soccer Club is a community-based soccer club where kids play soccer in an organized club setting. The program includes an organization of thousands of players, parents, coaches, and staff, and is built on relationships between players, coaches, parents, staff, friends, and neighbors. The club focuses on holistic player development with an emphasis on professionalism, sportsmanship, and community engagement.
Founded in 1986, Edina Soccer Club has deep roots in the community of Edina and Minnesota soccer. The club’s mission statement is: “We strive to be an inclusive, welcoming, and loyal organization that values and supports each of our members at all times.” The leadership team includes Tom Kleczewski as Club Director and Leslie Iyer as Executive Director. Additional leadership roles include Steve Casciaro as U8–U12 Director of Boys' Player Development, Corie Curtis as U8–U12 Director of Girls' Player Development, Lee Pemberton as U13–U19 Director of Player Development, Angie Boylan as Finance Director, and Zach Naylor as Assistant Director of Soccer Operations.
