• Ages: 7–17 years old
• Schedule: Half Day 4-day camp, Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–12:00pm
• Price: Half Day 4-day camp $469 (includes all fees)
The half-day option is described as being designed to create interest and foster development in beginners and intermediate golfers ages 7–17, and it is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender. Each morning includes three hours of instruction covering putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing. Campers receive small group instruction from Division I coaches at the University of Minnesota. The program provides a camper amenity package that includes a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, a camp workbook, and a graduation certificate, and every camper receives an exclusive 25% off Srixon discount code. Sibling and multi-week discounts of $25 off are available when registering by phone.
The camp’s stated mission is to offer a healthy and positive learning environment designed to help every camper get better. The leadership team includes Nike Golf Camp Director Cameron McCloskey, who is also the Assistant Men’s Golf Coach for the University of Minnesota, and Associate Head Women’s Golf Coach Miranda Greene. McCloskey previously served as head coach of Tiffin University men’s golf, leading the team to a third-place finish in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in 2023–24, an 11th-place finish at the Midwest Super Regional, three wins, and seven top-five finishes that season. In his first year as an assistant coach at Tiffin, he helped the team capture the 2022 G-MAC Championship and earn a bid to the NCAA Division II regional championship. As a Tiffin player from 2016–21, McCloskey earned Academic All-American honors three times, was named to the G-MAC All-Conference team in his final season, and posted a 74.42 season scoring average, which is listed as the eighth best all-time in school history.
Parent reviews from recent seasons describe campers learning new grips and techniques to improve their drives, talking about changes in their swings, and noting that they learned a lot. Several reviews mention campers enjoying the driving competition, relay races, instructor competitions, games, and the water balloon fight or water balloon event on the last day. Parents report that some children arrived as new or hesitant golfers and left saying they had an excellent time, knew all of their coaches, and were proud of how much their drives had improved. Reviews also mention campers enjoying getting to know other kids their age, including other girls, and liking both the men’s and women’s coaches. One family noted that their child’s play improved during golf rounds on difficult courses immediately after camp.
