Faribault Community Education Youth Programs offers activities including Summer STEAM, Kids World, Little Falcons Extracurricular Activities, Driver Education, Bowling-Faribault, Women & Children Swim Lessons, Falcons Beyond Summer STEAM football camp, FEC Bowling-Faribault, FEC Picnic, and FEC Music Get-Together w/Debbie. Summer STEAM combines teacher-led classroom learning in reading, writing, and science with camp-style activities that include free breakfast and lunch, time outside, and camp and cabin time. Kids World is a fee-based childcare program for children ages 3–12, and Little Falcons Extracurricular Activities is a free afterschool program introducing Faribault elementary students to a variety of extracurricular sports and activities.

Faribault Community Education states that Summer STEAM allows students to continue the habits of learning beyond the school year. The goal of Kids World is to provide a relaxed, enriched, safe and fun environment where all children are encouraged to pursue their personal interests, develop friendships and grow, and Kids World strives for continuous program improvement and partnerships with both parents and the community. Kids World is a certified and accredited fee-based childcare program. State law requires that each student completes 30 hours of the classroom portion of Driver Education, and if school is canceled, the Driver Education class is also canceled.
Faribault Community Education promises to enrich the lives of students, families and community members by facilitating learning opportunities from birth through adulthood, and it offers a wide range of programming serving all ages in the community. Faribault Public Schools partners with families and the community to educate, elevate and empower every student to achieve their full potential, and the Faribault Public Schools Community Education Advisory Council includes a broad cross-section of community members who provide high-level oversight to the Community Education Department. The Faribault Public Schools Community Education Department welcomes the active involvement of community members. The leadership team includes Cassie Riopelle, Community Education Director; Iliana Pinon, Community Education Data Analyst; and Amy Lunderby, Special Projects Coordinator.
