About
White Bear Lake Volleyball Club includes volleyball evaluations, practices, competitions, and tournaments. The program also includes fitness and training that covers speed development, power development, deceleration training, energy system efficiency training, movement quality training, and overall performance mastery training. For the 2026 Summer Season, the program has two teams for players entering 9th–12th grade in the fall of 2026.
• Ages: 14–18 years old
• Schedule: 2026 Summer Season practices run from July 7th through August 6th, with practices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6–7:30pm and competitions on Thursdays after 5pm on July 16, 23, 30 and August 6; during the regular club season, teams practice twice per week for 90 minutes, typically Monday–Thursday between 6pm and 9pm, with practices beginning the first full week of December and competitions on weekends
• Price: $225/player for the summer season
White Bear Lake Volleyball Club states that it is a positive and challenging environment where girls learn about volleyball, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and responsibility. Evaluations are conducted in alignment with the WBLVA Player Evaluation and Team Placement Policy. One out-of-town tournament within a 2–3 hour drive of the Twin Cities is typically offered for all teams, and the 2026 Bear Blast Tournament is scheduled for March 28th and 29th. The current director is Julie Steffensmeier. The club has a partnership with ETS Performance, which is described as a premier sports performance training facility dedicated to helping athletes maximize their physical and psychological potential.
