Maple Grove Arts Center Youth Classes and Summer Camps

Maple Grove Arts Center Youth Classes and Summer Camps take place in a facility that includes a curated gallery with seven themed exhibitions each year, each marked by a special opening night event. The program is part of a broader arts education offering at Maple Grove Arts Center, which includes classes for emerging, novice, and established artists. Families can also view and purchase artwork connected to the center’s exhibitions and programs, either online or by arranging pickup and payment at the center.

• Schedule: Gallery hours for the week commencing 07/20/26 are Monday closed; Tuesday 12:30 to 3pm with Valerie; Wednesday 11am to 1pm with Lise; Thursday 6:30pm to 8:30pm for the Advocates Show Opening; Friday 11am to 2pm with Valerie; Saturday closed; Sunday closed.
• Price: Advocates of Maple Grove Arts save 10% on any artwork purchase, either online with a unique code or in person by showing an advocacy card.

Maple Grove Arts Center states its mission as “To inspire creativity, foster community and enrich lives through art.” The organization operates as a 501c3 nonprofit arts center. Its leadership team includes Lise Spence-Parsons as President (Funding), Chuck Skajewski as Vice President (Our Mission), Teri Iverson as Gallery Director (Galleries), Mark Kuhn as Program Director (Business of Art) and Business of Art Director (contact for art purchase arrangements), and Dan McAvey as Director-at-Large (Outreach and Education Programs).

In its community involvement, Maple Grove Arts Center presents the Arbor Lakes Art Fair and Maple Grove Chalkfest each summer. Through its Business of Art initiative, it places local artwork in area businesses and has partnered with multiple Maple Grove locations, including Omni Brewery & Taproom, Falcon National Bank, Daily Dose (The Grove), Maple Grove Government Center, Topline Federal Credit Union, Whole Foods Market, The Movement Chiropractic & Wellness, and Unhinged Piercing. It partners with District 279 to host the annual Student Art Show at the Maple Grove Government Center, where it awards the Jacob Beneke Arts Scholarship to a graduating senior pursuing art in college. Payments for art purchased via pickup can be made with cash, check, or credit card, and checks are made payable to Maple Grove Arts Center.
