Maple Grove Arts Center Youth Art Programs

Maple Grove Arts Center Youth Art Programs include youth classes, adult classes, and summer camps. The programs take place in a spacious facility that offers a dynamic range of arts education programs, with classes designed to inspire and support emerging, novice, and established artists. The Maple Grove Arts Center features a beautifully curated gallery that hosts seven themed exhibitions each year, each with a special opening night event connected to the broader arts environment around the youth programs.

• Schedule: Gallery open Tuesday 5pm–8pm and Friday 11am–2pm, with the gallery closed Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday

The Maple Grove Arts Center states its mission as “To inspire creativity, foster community and enrich lives through art.” The organization is a 501c3 nonprofit arts center with a leadership team that includes a President of Funding, a Vice President, a Gallery Director, a Program Director for the Business of Art, and Directors-at-Large for outreach and education programs. Community involvement connected to the center includes presenting the Arbor Lakes Art Fair and Maple Grove Chalkfest each summer, running the Business of Art initiative that brings local artwork into area businesses, and partnering with District 279 to host the annual Student Art Show at the Maple Grove Government Center. At this student show, the Maple Grove Arts Center awards the Jacob Beneke Arts Scholarship to a graduating senior who is pursuing art in college, and the center also partners with multiple business locations around Maple Grove to display art from local artists. Payments for art purchases arranged for pickup at the Maple Grove Arts Center can be made with cash, check, or credit card, with checks made payable to The Maple Grove Arts Center.
