Rush Creek Junior Golf Programs includes Divots for ages 3-5, with a parent or another responsible adult attending each class. • Divots — 3-5 · $90 · First class in the Rush Creek Junior Golf Program series. Designed for youngsters with little or no golf experience. Parent (or another responsible adult) must attend each class with the child.
• April Classes Without League Play — 5-14 · Saturday classes · $160 · Beginner and intermediate juniors ages 5-14. Includes four 55-minute classes of instruction at the Golf Academy. Class size maximum 16.
• May Saturday Lesson Leagues — 5-14 · Saturdays · $199 · Beginner and intermediate juniors ages 5-14. Includes one hour per week of instruction and one hour per week of league play on The Mac Nine par three course. Class size maximum 16.
• May After School Lesson Leagues — 7-14 · Tuesdays and Thursdays · $199 · Beginner and intermediate juniors ages 7-14. Includes one hour per week of instruction at the Golf Academy and one hour per week of league play on The Mac Nine par three course. Class size maximum 16.
• Spring Future Pros — 9+ · $250 · For the more serious junior looking to tune up their game before summer. Includes 90-minute classes of instruction at the Golf Academy. Class size maximum 8.
• Golf 101 – Getting Started In Golf — $165 · Introduces golf to individuals who have little or no golf experience. Covers safety, rules, etiquette, full swing, short game and how to have fun with the game. 8 students maximum.
• Golf 201 – Beginners Take to the Course — $185 · Transitions from driving range instruction to playing as a group on the par three course. 4 students maximum.
• Golf 301 – Beginners, Let's Play Golf! — $185 · Exclusively held on the par three course. Covers rules, course management, etiquette and other skills required for actual play. 4 student maximum.
• Junior Golf Programs — All ages and abilities · Year round programs for fun and learning about the game of golf. Instructors teach swing fundamentals, short game, rules, etiquette and safety.
• Lesson Leagues — 5-14 · Weekday lesson leagues listed as Rookies, Bogey, Par, Birdie, Jr Aces, Future Pros, Eagle, and TR in the registration dates.

About the provider

The leadership team includes PGA Director of Instruction Aaron Jacobson and PGA Teaching Professionals Charlie Levis, Tom Wall, and Kyle Thul. The mission statement says the junior programs are designed to help young golfers understand the game of golf and have fun in the process, and to help each junior enjoy the game of golf and reach their golfing potential. Aaron Jacobson’s listed credentials include 2015 Youth Development Leader, Minnesota PGA; 2019 Teacher of the Year, Minnesota PGA; and Honorable Mention Top 50 Kids Teacher for 2012, 2013, and 2015 by U.S. Kids Golf. Charlie Levis’s listed credentials include 2021 Youth Development Leader, Minnesota PGA; and the 2003 Minnesota Section PGA Assistant Professional of the Year Award.
