St. Paul Catholic Athletic Association Middle School Sports offers baseball, softball, golf, track, soccer, volleyball, and cross country for middle school students. The program includes both boys and girls soccer seasons, volleyball seasons, and cross country meets, along with baseball and softball opportunities connected to participating schools.

• Schedule: Seasonal middle school sports with soccer and volleyball seasons beginning in September, cross country events in the fall, and an annual golf tournament in July.
• Price: The 2026 CAA Courtney Classic Annual Golf Tournament costs $150 per individual, including golf, cart, and buffet dinner, with sponsorships available at $1,500 for a foursome sponsor and $500 for a hole sponsor.

The Catholic Athletic Association (CAA) states that its mission is to create an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful atmosphere for participants, embracing acceptance of varied abilities and diversity through athletic competition. The CAA works closely with member school Athletic Directors, coaches, officials, and the CAA Board of Directors to support middle school athletics throughout the Twin Cities metro area. The leadership team includes CAA Board President Kevin McCloughan and Director of Operations Megan Jacobson, along with Athletic Directors or site contacts at member schools such as Ascension, Breck, Christ Lutheran, Christ's Household of Faith, Community of Peace, Community of Saints, Crown of Life Lutheran, Faithful Shepherd, Frassati Catholic Academy, Highland Catholic, Hill-Murray, Holy Family Academy, Holy Spirit, and Holy Trinity, where Holy Trinity also lists Principal Anita Davis. The CAA is hiring a new Director of Operations, a role that oversees day-to-day operations, works with school Athletic Directors, coaches, officials, and the Board of Directors, and offers a flexible schedule with primarily remote work plus some in-person meetings, events, and seasonal responsibilities. The 2026 CAA Courtney Classic Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, July 13, 2026, with check-in beginning at 11:00 a.m., a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m., a social hour with cash bar at 5:00 p.m., and a buffet dinner at 5:30 p.m., and registrations due by Wednesday, July 8.
