About
Ohm Sports Academy Basketball Camps offer several focused basketball sessions, including the Handlez & Pure Shooting Camp, the Skills to Score Camp, and the Complete Player Camp. Camps are for both boys and girls in grades 3–10 based on the 2026–2027 school year. For each camp, grades 3–5 meet from 8:30am to 10:30am, and grades 6–8 and 9–10 meet from 10:30am to 12:30pm. The Handlez ball handling portion of camp is to develop mastery of basic to advanced moves and improve dribbling instincts in competitive situations, and the Pure Shooting portion is designed to develop a solid foundation for shooters from floor to finish using intense repetitive movements that build fine motor skills for shooters from beginners to advanced. The Skills to Score Camp is described as a program designed to teach players to become an offensive threat that can score multiple ways, and the Complete Player Camp focuses on skills to become a complete player on both ends of the court, including becoming a better defender on and off the ball and building offensive skills through both the Pure Shooting and Handlez programs. Campers receive instruction from former and current college players and experienced high school coaches, under the leadership of owner Joe Ohm.
